The Solid X 10-Piece Deep Impact Socket Set includes the most frequently used sizes: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 19, 21, 22, and 24mm. Each socket is crafted from CR-MO (Chromium-Molybdenum), forged to withstand the high torque and vibration of air and battery impact wrenches. Unlike standard chrome vanadium (Cr-V) hand sockets, which can shatter under impact, CR-MO flexes slightly to absorb shock, enhancing both safety and durability.
Deep sockets are designed to access nuts recessed in truck wheels and suspension, and to clear long, protruding studs such as U-bolts. They are precision-machined to tight tolerances, which helps prevent the rounding of stubborn or rusted bolt heads. The black phosphate finish offers resistance to rust and grime, making them ideal for wet recovery environments.
